Product Overview
ZDR6D sandwich pressure reducing valve is NG6 size three‑way direct operated hydraulic sandwich valve. It performs pressure reduction for secondary hydraulic circuits, stabilizing lower working pressure for branch circuits regardless of main line pressure fluctuation. This ZDR6D direct operated reducing valve consists of valve body, control spool, pressure spring and adjustment unit. Optional built‑in check valve allows free reverse flow for different circuit requirements.
Features
This modular pressure reducing valve adopts sandwich plate design, which can realize pressure reduction on port A or port P. It is equipped with three optional pressure adjustment mechanisms: hexagon socket screw with protective cap, rotary knob and lockable knob. There are four pressure ratings for selection, and an optional check valve can be supplied as required.

Function Description: Section View
ZDR…D series modular direct-acting pressure reducing valve adopts sandwich plate design with three-way characteristics. It is used for pressure reduction in hydraulic systems to control the pressure in the secondary oil circuit.
Components of the pressure reducing valve: valve body (1), control spool (2), two pressure adjustment springs (3), pressure adjustment mechanism (4) and optional check valve.
The pressure adjustment mechanism (4) is used to adjust the pressure of the secondary oil circuit.
At the initial position, the spool is open. Oil can flow freely from port P to port P1 (Model "DP") or from port A to port A1 (Model "DA"). Pressure P1 acts on the end face of the spool through control passage (5) and balances against the spring force on the spool. When the pressure at port P1 exceeds the set value of spring (3), the control spool (2) moves rightwards, reducing the flow opening and the P1 pressure accordingly, so as to maintain the pressure at port P1 at the preset value.
The control pilot oil is internally supplied from port P1 via passage (5).
If external force acts on the load and causes continuous pressure rise at port P1, the spool (2) is pushed toward the side of spring (3). The oil at port P1 flows back to the tank through hole (6) inside the spool (2) as an overpressure return path. Drain oil is normally discharged externally from spring chamber (7) through port T(Y).
The "DA" type valve can be fitted with a check valve to allow oil return flow from port A1 to port A.
A pressure gauge can be installed at port (8) of the valve to read the secondary circuit pressure.
