Engineered by TAIFENG, the WE6 Series is a compact directional control valve driven by direct solenoid actuation of the valve spool. It is specifically designed for fluid routing and flow direction management in hydraulic circuits. Beyond basic flow control, this unit functions as a highly effective pilot valve for larger hydraulic components—including electro-hydraulic directional valves and two-way cartridge valves—providing precise pilot-stage control for high-power hydraulic applications.

WE6 ype Solenoid Directional Valve
The WE type directional control valve is a solenoid-operated spool valve used to start, stop and reverse the flow of hydraulic fluid.
This directional control valve mainly consists of valve body (1), one or two solenoids (2), control spool (3) and one or two return springs (4). When de-energized, the control spool is held in the neutral or initial position by the return spring. The control spool is actuated by wet-type solenoids. To ensure satisfactory operation, the pressure chamber of the solenoid must be completely filled with hydraulic oil.
The force of the solenoid acts on the control spool via the push rod, shifting it from the rest position to the required position. This allows free flow of hydraulic fluid from P to A and B to T, or P to B and A to T. When the solenoid is de-energized, the return spring pushes the control spool back to its initial position. An optional manual override enables spool movement when the solenoid is not energized.
Model 4WE6..50/0.. (only for neutral functions A, C, D) This model is a double-solenoid two-position switching directional valve without a detent mechanism. The spool has no defined switching position upon power loss.
Model 4WE6..50/0F.. (only for neutral functions A, C, D) This model is a double-solenoid two-position switching directional valve with a detent mechanism. The spool can remain in any selected position, and continuous energization of the solenoids is not required.
