Overview

The WST series CNC hydraulic cylinder for press brake is designed for precise stroke control in CNC press-brake applications. A top-mounted electro-hydraulic servo valve controls oil flow into the cylinder, adjusting its working stroke and changing the die closing height to meet different sheet-metal bending requirements. It offers easy installation, reliable operation, and good sealing performance. For selection, the insert-valve and filling-port dimensions must match the press-brake body, the working stroke must exceed the slide's maximum stroke, and system pressure must not exceed the rated pressure. Recommended operating speed is below 120 mm/s. External connection dimensions can be customized. WST series cylinders can also be individually designed for specific requirements, and other series are available for different filling insert-valve structures.

Selection Notes

Check the insert-valve hole position and dimensions specified for the WST series CNC press brake hydraulic cylinder. Make sure they match the connection dimensions of the valve block to be installed.

Check the position and dimensions of the filling-port holes provided on the mounting surface of the WST series CNC press brake hydraulic cylinder. Make sure they match the oil passages provided in the CNC press brake body and that the sealing interfaces are correctly aligned and fully engaged.

The hydraulic cylinder's working stroke must be greater than the maximum working stroke of the press-brake slide. Do not operate the cylinder beyond its specified stroke.

The pressure set in the press-brake hydraulic system must not exceed the permitted rated pressure of the hydraulic cylinder. For special requirements, consult our technical department.

The recommended normal operating speed of this series of CNC press brake hydraulic cylinders is less than 120 mm/s. If a specific operating speed is required, state it in the technical requirements when placing the order.

The external connection dimensions of the hydraulic cylinder can be modified according to customer requirements.

WST series CNC press brake hydraulic cylinders can be individually designed and manufactured according to the customer's specific requirements. This means the cylinder can be tailored to match different machine configurations, installation dimensions, and operating conditions rather than being limited to a standard model.

Other hydraulic-cylinder series are also available for CNC press brakes that use different filling insert-valve structures. If the filling insert-valve structure on the press brake differs from the standard configuration, our technical department can assess whether another hydraulic-cylinder series is more suitable.
